Friday and it's Southern Decadence. I don't have to go in to work until later--I am doing condom patrol at the corner tonight, so don't have to be at the office until around 2:30--so I am going to take advantage and go to Costco this morning. Hurray! I also have to work Condom Patrol on Sunday for a couple of hours, but other than that, the whole weekend stretches out before me, free and clear.

I have work to do, of course--I always have work to do--but no Paul means long stretches of emptiness before me. I do need to go to Storage, because I realized that I don't have copies of Bourbon Street Blues or Jackson Square Jazz in the house, and I wanted to do a promo thing. I am also thinking it might not be a bad thing to start clearing out the storage unit--anything that's in there, seriously, can just be donated as I don't even know what's in there anymore--and just keep copies of my own books in there. It does seem rather daunting to me, though.

Heavy heaving sigh.

What I should do is pay someone to do it for me.

Because of course, you know the boxes I want are in the back.

There's also something really strange going on between Livejournal and Facebook. My blog entries here are supposed to automatically post on Facebook, and the last two have not. When I try to do them manually, they show up briefly, and then disappear. Since no one really comes here to read this anymore without seeing it on Facebook first, I may have to find a new blog site. I've been here for almost twelve years--and I am one of the few who is still here--but if Livejournal isn't going to connect with Facebook anymore, I will have to.

Heavy heaving sigh.

Well, I am off to Costco.

Here's an old picture from Decadence--and yes, I'll have both phone AND camera with me while on Condom Duty.

Oh dear, that would be sad . . . I hope you can work it out, for I don't have Facebook and love your articles, thoughts, ramblings and reviews here at LJ.
